The road to Bansko is closed because of heavy accident happened around 4:00 am this morning. TIR with Romanian registration turned around on the downhill from Predela to Simitli. The driver was traveling at high speed and hit the huge machine on a left turn in a roadside wall, then turned around the road. The cabin is digested, the driver has died.
It is not known whether if beyond recognition cabin has another man. Police and firefighters are in place and attempt to remove the driver and possibly his companion. Along the way are scattered slabs and bricks of the cargo of the truck. There is a huge queue of cars. The road is closed. Still no official information, one or two were killed in the incident.
