On 27-th of August starts the sixth consecutive festival for classical and opera art “Bansko Opera Fest”. This year the event will present the first three pieces in three consecutive evenings. In the first evening of classical music lovers will enjoy the ballet “Don Quixote” in adaptation of Sylvia Tomova. The story of selfless and brave Don Quixote daydreaming about travel and adventure will be represented by State Opera Rousse starting at 20:30.
The following evening, on August 28-th, Varna Opera will capture the scene presenting the splendid piece “Carmen”, accompanied by the music of Georges Bizet.
The program will end on 29-th of August with the debut placement of operetta in “Bansko Opera Fest”. “Czardas Queen” by Emmerich Kalman, which humorously tells the convoluted story of variety show actress Silva. The world-famous operetta will be represented by State Opera Rousse.
Fans of classical art can feel the contact with the beautiful late summer in Bansko and fresh mountain air in the resort. In combination with the opera festival, each visited outlines three magical nights.
