The Council of Ministers has approved the building of a conductive water main in Bansko. The water main will connect Karamanitsa -2, Karamanitsa -3, and Usipo, and the building will start at the beginning of November.
The new water main will solve the problem with the insufficiently of drinking water in the upper part of the resort.
We are waiting for the timeframes defined by the law to expire, so we can start with the construction work.
The financial support for the water main has been provided by the state budget and amounts to 1 128 997 leva without TVA, said Bansko’s mayor, Georgi Ikonomov.
According to calculations, the new water main will increase the water flow in the following years.
