Bansko is situated in the southwestern part of Bulgaria, at the foot of the Pirin Mountains. The ski resort boasts some of the longest runways in the country.
At the opposite end of the scale ranks the resort Vail in Colorado, which has been declared the most expensive resort for families this season. Holiday there cost around £ 9924 for a family of four in Colorado – more than three times the amount you will pay for your week in Bansko. Vail is one of the largest ski resorts in the world.
