Among the topics discussed were the tendencies and risks that British tourists encounter when visiting Bansko. It was established that the number of incidents involving British tourists is more and more reduced every year thanks to the adequate attitude of tour agencies and the local police. The police representatives informed the tour agents that there will be strong police presence in the ski zone to prevent terrorist acts.
On the other hand the tour operators reported that Bansko is a popular destination among British tourists. The good conditions for winter sports and the measures taken for the normal development of the season provide preconditions for its successful completion around mid April.
