This enabled Bansko to achieve a double win in both the categories after the awards were started in 2013. The other hotels that were nominated for these awards in Bulgaria include Borovets, Pampororvo, and Vitosha among other nominated hotels from other countries.

Best Resort, Boutique Hotel, Chalet and Hotel were the four categories in which awards were announced. These four categories attracted completion from 21 countries and 5 continents. The architectural and historic value of Bansko has made it the most popular resort in Bulgaria. This has also propelled it to the top of favorite tourist destinations in the world. It is not just a great winter resort, but also an all-seasons’ resort that has wonderful conditions for tourist from all over the world.
