The only one in Southeast Europe and the Balkans Film Festival for Mountains, extreme sports and adventure in Bansko will offer breathtaking interstellar program from 25 to 29 November. At the 15th edition on the big screen in community center “Nikola Vaptsarov” will appear one of the greatest actors of all time – Clint Eastwood, who also celebrates anniversary. On the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the four-time winner of the “Oscar”, we will see Alpine action movies “Where Eagles Dare” (1968) and “Eiger Sanction” (1975).
Over the 5 days on “Bansko Film Fest”, which traditionally will be free entrance, are also two thematic immortal tapes of the Russian bard Vladimir Vysotsky – “Vertical” (1967) and “White Explosion” (1969).
Among the 100 titles from 27 countries in the program, certainly the hit will be the Austrian production “Shtrayf”: A hellish ride “(2014) for perhaps the most fearsome ski slope and the 75th anniversary of the mythical race “Hahnenkamm” on it.
Some of the participants on the film have skied on the World Cup in Bansko. Among them is as four-time winner of the Grand Crystal Globe Marcel Hirscher, who has two victories in Bansko, as well as former greatness Hermann Maier- the Herminator opened the season in 2012 on Banderishka Polyana.
