The old plan since 1990 is extremely outdated and does not meet modern conditions occurred as a result of the rapid development of Bansko. The result of this chaos is no street regulation in new areas in the city, lack of green areas, lack of parking, difficulty moving through the streets of pedestrians and vehicles. So at the end of November 2013 at the suggestion of Mayor Georgi Ikonomov, City Council approved within the town these local entities – “Gyurovitsa”, “Saint Ivan”, “Gramadeto”, “Kosherinata”, “Sredoreko”, “Asanitsa” and “Gerachini streets”. It was another step towards addressing the problem of urban development in the town. During the large-scale development of the city began construction of buildings, hotels and apart-hotels of land converted from agricultural to be urbanized.
