I am certain that this winter season in Bansko will be very successful, as we are expecting at least 7% increase. This is what said Nikolina Anghelkova, Minister of Tourism in resignation, at the opening of the 2016/17 winter season in Bansko.
“Dear citizens of Bansko, dear friends of the winter sports, I am extremely happy to be yet again at the opening of the ski season. I am certain that the upcoming winter season will be exceptional”, said Anghelkova. According to her last year Bansko is the most visited by foreigners.
“I believe that this year you will have even more success than last year, with at least 7% increase. Today we also started an online application for the ski slopes, so that everyone will be able to visit our website and see in real time the ski slopes according to their difficulty, as well as the layout, and enjoy skiing”, explained Anghelkova. She underlined that the conditions Bansko offers are perfect for skiing.
“The fact that each year at the season’s opening we have world famous ski champions visiting Bansko shows without any doubt that the town offers a high quality service. The yearly awards of the Ministry of Tourism are upcoming. The competition for the best ski resort is tight. I am certain that the upcoming season will be very successful”, added Nikolina Anghelkova.
