More than 132 000 foreigners have properties in our country, announced “Monitor” newspaper. Since the end of 2013 when they were 13 000, their number has increased more than 10 times. The biggest number of foreigners with Bulgarian properties are in the area of Bourgas – 89 689, as in the last three years their numbers have risen 9,6 times. These numbers reflect mostly vacation homes on the south coast of the Black sea. The second biggest number of foreigners with Bulgarian properties is the area around Pirin mountain, where roughly 15 000 foreign citizens have bought homes. The increase in numbers there is the biggest – more than 25 times. Most of the homes bought in this area are around Bansko.
