Georgi Nikolov from Bansko was declared for Sommelier of 2015 after a tough competition during the National Competition held in Kempinski Hotel in Sofia. For the title pretended wine specialists from Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv, Veliko Tarnovo, Burgas and Bansko. Skills of the contestants were judged by an expert jury.
I am proud because of the reward and recognition that Georgi received, not only his own, but the entire Bansko town. I am sure that the competition for the best sommelier in the world, which will be held in the Autumn, the place of our representative will be among the first – said the President of the Union of Tourism in Bansko, Malin Bistrin.
