World famous stars of the extreme sports are arriving this year in Bulgaria for the Bansko Film Fest which will take place from November 21 until November 25 in the mountain town.
The program includes films from 30 countries, including China, Kazakhstan, and India, which will have their premiere for Bulgaria. Among the guests is Thomas Huber from Germany – one of the biggest contemporary sports climbers, who has made some of the most difficult wall climbings in the world. Other guests will be the Italian alpinists Mario Vielmo and Sebastiano Valentini, as well as one of the most famous freeriders with slidings in the most inaccessible and remote points on Earth – Matthias Mayer from Austria, and the Spanish paraclimber Urko Barandiaran, who lost a leg during an accident, but nevertheless has many excellent accomplishments – says Aleksandra Petrova, manager of Bansko Film Fest.
