World Ski Cup in Bansko have received the most funds for households of international competitions in 2015. In this year’s budget were down 5 million levs to support these households, but were actually distributed 6,138,740 lev. World Ski Cup competition for women in late February has the largest share as have received 1.265 million levs for three days in Bansko. According the Sports Minister – Krasen Kralev the most money had to be given to Football for hosting the European Championship for youths where had been received 1.1 million levs.
A total of 21 households were funded this year, including several championships for youths. Some households, however, are attractive and unusual sports, despite the stated policy of Kralev not support such sports.
150 000 lev has received European Arm Wrestling Championship which was held in Bansko. Although, the sport may not enter into any category either as Olympic or as a prestigious. It can only be defined as such with social importance.
