On Saint Nicholas day, December 6, Bansko’s mayor will inaugurate the Christmas and New Year festivities with the official lighting up of the Christmas tree. The fairy tale princess Elsa will be the guest of honour and Bansko’s children will have the opportunity to take a photo with her. The ceremony, which will also include a beautiful light show, a children’s show and lots of treats, will start at 4:30 PM on “Nikola Vaptsarov” square.
